This page explains how you get your order from Palesa's Bakes & Treats: collection from our shop, or delivery.
Collecting from our shop
Collection is free. Pick your order up at Shop 19 A, Parklands Lifestyle Centre, Cape Town. Our hours are Monday to Friday 09:00 to 18:00, Saturday 09:00 to 14:00, closed on Sunday. Please bring your order number, or the name and phone number you ordered with.
We will tell you when your order is ready. If you cannot collect it on the day, message us on 084 990 5734 and we will arrange another time. Cakes must be collected on the date we agreed with you, because they are made fresh for that day.
Delivery
We deliver in and around Cape Town. If you are further away, message us on WhatsApp first so we can confirm we can get your order to you safely.
The delivery fee is R149 for a standard delivery. You see the exact fee at checkout, before you pay.
Please make sure your delivery address and phone number are correct. If nobody is available to receive your order, the courier or driver will contact you to arrange another time, and an extra delivery fee may apply.
Custom cakes
Custom cakes need 7 to 14 days notice. We confirm the date, the design and the price with you before we start. Because cakes are fragile, we may ask you to collect your cake yourself, or we will tell you plainly if we cannot deliver it to your area safely.
Check your order when it arrives
Please check your order as soon as you receive it. If something is missing, damaged or not what you ordered, message us on 084 990 5734 or write to info@palesasbakeryandretail.co.za on the same day, with a photo, and we will put it right. See our returns and refunds page.
